Our History

Invision Engineering Corp. was founded on April 12, 2002 by engineers José E. Rullán and José L. Vázquez, P.E.  The company’s name comes from the phrase “INsightful and VISIONary ENGINEERING“.  This phrase summarized what the founders wanted to achieve with the company;  provide innovative engineering solutions based on an insightful understanding of the customer’s needs. 

The company’s first offices where located at José Vázquez’s living room in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.  At this time, the company’s vision was to provide technical and consulting services to the pharmaceutical and food and beverages industries in the west side of the island.

Invision’s first customer was “Cervecera de Puerto Rico”, formerly known as “Cervecería India”, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.  Amgen, a biotechnology company located in Juncos, Puerto Rico was the company’s second customer.

Today, Invision Engineering Corp. continues to provide support services to control systems in multinational and regulated industries in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean within a quality framework based on ISO 9001:2015.

The company’s employees are passionate people in the areas of engineering, software development, instrumentation and electrical installations.  Invision has offices in Mayagüez and Caguas, Puerto Rico.
